Vesper & Annual Parish Feast 2025 

Belvai, November 4, 2025: In a historic moment marking its 54-year journey, Belvai Parish Church witnessed the first-ever Vesper, celebrated as an Eve of Praise and Worship. The solemn and spiritually uplifting service drew parishioners together in gratitude and devotion.

The evening began with a novena prayer to the Patron Saint, and Rev. Fr. Elias Dsouza blessed the chariot of St. Martin, which was taken in a reverent procession along the newly constructed walking track within the church premises.

Subsequently, Rev. Fr. Melwyn Noronha led the faithful in the Vesper Liturgy, followed by Adoration, creating a prayerful atmosphere of thanksgiving and praise.

The celebration concluded with a sumptuous fellowship meal served to all, accompanied by the joyful bursting of firecrackers, adding to the festive spirit of this landmark occasion in the parish’s history.

Annual Feast 2025: 

The Annual Parish Feast of Belvai Parish Church was celebrated with deep faith and festivity, bringing together parishioners in large numbers for the solemn Eucharistic celebration on November 5, 2025

The Holy Mass was presided over by the Main Celebrant, Rev. Fr Onil Dsouza, Vicar Var of Moodubidire Deanery, while the homily was delivered by Rev. Dr Canute Barboza, Parish Priest of Miyar, who inspired the faithful with a meaningful and thought-provoking reflection relevant to Christian living.

The feast celebration was marked by prayer, fellowship, and joy, making it a spiritually enriching occasion for the entire parish community.
