New Year's Eve Celebration held on Dec 31

Belvai Dec 31, 2023: The New Year's Eve celebration was held at St. Martin de Porres church with a Thanksgiving Adoration, and Holy Eucharistic celebration by invoking blessings from the almighty and welcoming the New Year 2024.

Br. Shailesh Lobo conducted the adoration with spiritual hymns. 

Rev. Fr Francis Fernandes SVD concelebrated Holy Eucharist along with Parish Priest Rev. Fr Joseph Alphonse Cardoza, and our own Rev. Fr Lawrence Dmello OCD.

A short celebration was followed by mass through cake cutting by Priests, Convent Superior Sr Jacinta Lasrado, Parish Council VP Lavina Cardoza, Secretary Jacintha Rego & 21 Commissions Convenor Veera Pereira. Parishioners took part in large numbers and savored cake, samosa, and malt before departing.

Philip Rego conducted Housie Housie games & David Dmello compered the program.
