Belvai Dec 10, 2023: The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Belvai unit brought together the parishioners with three engaging events on account of Christmas Night at Mariam Niketan Convent School, Belvai.
The festive spirit was alive in the community with a vibrant fancy dress competition. Parishioners of all ages donned creative costumes, depicting Christmas themes and characters.
Cooking without Fire Competition:
This unique competition challenged participants to showcase their culinary skills without the use of fire. Participants presented a variety of innovative dishes and creative combinations of ingredients.
Both events were met with great enthusiasm and participation from the parishioners. ICYM Belvai's initiative to organize such unique and engaging events is commendable. It provides a platform for showcasing individual talents, strengthens community bonds, and fosters a sense of belonging.
ICYM Belvai unit organized a fun-filled event featuring various games for parishioners in the afternoon at Church Ground.
The participants enjoyed themselves immensely, engaging enthusiastically in the various games and activities. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and joy.
Games like Soppata, Idli eating, coconut husk peeling, finding coins in flour, saree draping for men, throwing balls to cart, and other games were held. All the games fostered a sense of belonging, encouraged fun and relaxation, and ultimately strengthened the bonds between parishioners
