Coconut Sapling plantation Drive at Belvai Church 

Belvai, April 13, 2025: In a vibrant display of community spirit and environmental responsibility, parishioners of Belvai Church came together to plant coconut saplings in the church compound. The initiative was carried out under the guidance of Parish Priest Rev. Fr Joseph Alphonse Cardoza, with strong support from ward heads.

Driven by the motto “Plant a tree and plant a hope for the future,” the parishioners participated ward-wise, with each ward planting four saplings. The event not only aimed at enhancing the greenery of the church premises but also instilled a sense of environmental stewardship among the faithful. The planting drive stands as a testament to the parish's commitment to nurturing creation and fostering a sustainable environment for future generations.

Parish Council VP Lavina Cardoza, Secretary Jacintha Rego & 21 Parish Commissions Coordinator Gracy Veera Pereira and others were present.
