Christmas Celebration Brings Joy to Community 

Belvai Dec 24, 2024: The parish hosted a heartwarming Christmas celebration, bringing together families and individuals of all ages to mark the Birth of Jesus Christ.

The church was beautifully decorated with twinkling lights and a stunning nativity crib that captured the spirit of Christmas. The crib and the giant star was beautifully prepared by ward members of Christ King.

Before the festal mass, traditional carols sung by the church choir group the congregation sang traditional carols and reflected on the message of peace and goodwill,  that filled the church with joy and serenity.

Parishioners participated in the Festal Mass in large numbers which was celebrated by our Parish Priest Rev. Fr Joseph Alphonse Cardoza.

A short celebration was followed by mass through cake cutting by Priests, Convent Superior Sr Jacinta Lasrado, Parish Council VP Lavina Cardoza, Secretary Jacintha Rego & 21 Commissions Convenor Veera Pereira. Parishioners were served with cake & malt.
