Annual Catechism Day of parish celebrated 

Belvai, March 02, 2025: Our parish joyfully celebrated its annual Catechism Day on March 02, bringing together parishioners to honor the important role of religious education within the Church. A solemn Thanksgiving mass was celebrated.  The liturgy was led by the parish catechism children.

Post mass, a short program was hosted at the church hall.  The program began with a prayer song and the lighting of the lamp by guests and selected children.

Students who showed dedication by attending every Sunday Catechism classes regularly, and those who excelled in exams were recognized and awarded for their commitment and hard work. The prizes were distributed by the dignitaries on the dais. 

Students from Grades 1 to PU presented a variety of engaging performances.

Parish Council VP Lavina Cardoza, Secretary Jacintha Rego & 21 Parish Commissions Coordinator Gracy Veera Pereira, Convent Superior Sr Jacintha Lasrado, Catechism Convenor Sr Evlyn Crasta, and others were present. 

Diana proposed a vote of thanks, Viola compered the event.
