Ward Feast 2025

Belvai Nov 16, 2025: The members of St. Martin De Porres Ward gathered at the residence of Mr. Peter Dsouza to celebrate their Annual Ward Feast on 16th November 2025. 

Around 45 ward members participated in the celebration to honor St. Martin De Porres and to strengthen their bond as a community.

The event began with a prayer, followed by the lighting of the lamp and offering of flowers to the statue of St. Martin De Porres by the dignitaries: Rev. Fr. Joseph Alphonse Cardoza, Mrs. Lavina Cardoza, Mrs. Jacintha Rego, Mrs. Veera Pereira, Sr. Evlyn Crasta, Sr. Jacintha, and Sr. Pradhansia.

The sponsors of the feast were thanked for their support, and the winners of various games received prizes from Fr. Joseph Alphonse Cardoza. Fr. Cardoza and Mrs. Lavina Cardoza addressed the gathering and extended their blessings and good wishes.

The existing ward representatives and newly elected ward representatives were felicitated.

Games were organized by Mrs. Sonia Anitha Dsouza, Mrs. Suzanna Dsouza, and Mrs. Lidwin Cardoza, while Ms. Avita Castelino compered. Mrs. Sevrine Dsouza welcomed the gathering, and Mrs. Sonia Anitha Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks.

The celebration concluded with a delicious lunch, making it a joyful and memorable occasion for all.
