Ward Fest 2024

Belvai October 13, 2024:  Holy Rosary ward members celebrated its Ward Fest on October 13, 2024, at ward member Mr Rosario Menezes's house.

Previous Sunday October 06th a thanksgiving mass was held. On account of fest celebration Mother Mary statue was brought on procession from Mr Olwin Quadros house to Mr Rosario Menezes house.

Parish Priest Rev. Fr Joseph Alphonse Cardoza, Parish Council Vice President Lavina Cardoza, Secretary Jacintha Rego, 21 Commissions Coordinator Veera Pereira, Convent Superior Sr Jacintha Lasrado, and Ivan Cardoza were present as guests.

Kids from the ward performed a welcome dance. Later flowers were offered to the Mother Mary statue and a prayer was held.

Ward secretary read the ward annual report. Veteran Armyman of the ward & Past ward head Mr Gilbert Madtha was felicitated for his service towards the country & ward. 

3 families were given medical aid assistance. Ward students who qualified in the last academic year were felicitated.

A prize for attendance for attending all Small Christian Community (Monthly Ward meeting) was given. Sponsors for the feast celebration were felicitated. Prizes for game winners were distributed.

Fr Joseph Cardoza, Sr Jacintha Lasrado, and VP Lavina Cardoza addressed the gathering and wished the ward members well.

Other Wards Heads were also present.

Ward Head Zita Lobo welcomed, Gracy Dsilva proposed vote of thanks, Veena Nazareth compered the event.

The fest concluded with a delicious meal which was prepared by ward members.
